Of God - Jhn 1:12-14

Jhn 1:12-14 (12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Who beheld His glory in verse 14?

We have already read that He came into the world and the world received Him not. We have seen the condition of men dwelling willing in darkness not being able to even comprehend the Light. Then who, who among any that read this can behold His glory. What merits do you bring that make you worthy to view His Son in glory. Is the means of a right to all men that are born, God forbid! Is the means to a mater of inheritance or family, God forbid! Is the means because of what you know, God Forbid! Is the means due to a choice you made, God forbid! Is it through the persuasive power of preaching or where you go to church, God forbid! Is receiving Him and beholding His glory then up to chance, God forbid! The new birth is nothing short and nothing more than a divine work of a sovereign God. Nothing added, nothing less, full of grace and truth.
