Jhn 1:31-34 (31) And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. (32) And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. (33) And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. (34) And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
What is it to be baptized with the Holy Ghost?
So much has been made of baptism. The how, who, where, weather the water is pure or runs naturally, sprinkling or immersion, front-wards or dunking back-wards, infant or after an age of reckoning, or even if you are baptized by a clergy of a certain church or not. Really all of this is only the flesh debating everything but the true baptism first of the Holy Ghost. If one is first baptized by the Holy Spirit and was washed with the blood of Christ the discussion quickly goes from how, who, or where to when. When one is touched by the Spirit and understands why we desire to bare record and glorify the Son of God we willing and with the correct heart immerse oneself in the waters of baptism.
