Perhaps there is a more precious thought still. Jesus Christ called Himself the Son of Man to express His oneness and sympathy with His people. This reminds us that we may approach Him without fear. We may take all our grief and trouble to Him because He knows them from His own experience. Because He Himself suffered as the Son of man, He is able to strengthen and comfort us. All hail blessed Jesus! Throughout eternity Jesus will use that sweet name to acknowledge that He is our brother. What a precious reminder of his grace, His humility, and His love!
