If it were not for God's effectual, redeeming love nobody would ever be saved. Because of God's great and gracious love He chose from eternity past a people who would be scattered throughout this world whom He would save. These people were so un-loving and only worthy of eternal condemnation and yet because of His great love for them He chose them to be His special possession. Because of His love for these people He sent His only begotten Son to die for these people. Because of His great love for them He sent the Holy Spirit to call His people to himself and give them eternal life. Yes, all those who "believeth in Him" have everlasting life but they believe because God first set His love upon them from before the creation of the world. Friend, if you believe Him today you are His for all eternity. Oh what love!
